The RIAA thinks that going after media piracy can help fight drug dealers and terrorists. This video looks legit, so I think that these people are actually serious with what they are talking about. Be cautious when making a back up CD because the RIAA is watching you.
TechCrunch is reporting that Microsoft and Google are going to purchase the Social News site Digg.com. Digg was founded by TechTv alum Kevin Rose on a shoestring budget. The site is now one of the top 50 web destinations. I would much rather see Google gobble up Digg than to see Microsoft destroy the site.
You can download it for $5 from their official web site: http://ghosts.nin.com or from Amazon.com. If you go to their web site you can also get 9 songs for free, a 40 page PDF and other computer related goodies as a one time only download.
Nine Inch Nails presents Ghosts I – IV, a brand new 36 track instrumental collection available right now. Almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I – IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.
Trent Reznor explains, “I’ve been considering and wanting to make this kind of record for years, but by its very nature it wouldn’t have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective – dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I’m very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. I hope you enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts.”
