Save Your Water Damaged iPhone or Cell Phone!!!

No GravatarHow to Save Your Water Damaged iPhone or Cell Phone.

In order for this to work, you need to take these actions right away.

Have you ever dropped one of your electronic devices in water?  If you have, you most likely tried to dry it off with a towel or blow dryer and then tried to see if it still works.  That may not be the best idea.   Trying to turn it on before it is completely dry can cause your electronic device to short out.  You can brick your device that way.

The best thing to do is to dry it off with a soft towel and keep it somewhere very dry for at least a few days to a full week.  If you don’t have that much patience, you can dry off your device with a soft towel and then buy some silica bead packets or silica gel packs.  You place cover the device with the bead packs or the gel packs and they will draw out the moisture and within three or four days, the device should be dry enough to use.  Please only try this at your own risk and do not try to power up or power off any wet or water damaged device.

    Leaked RIAA Training Video

The RIAA thinks that going after media piracy can help fight drug dealers and terrorists. This video looks legit, so I think that these people are actually serious with what they are talking about. Be cautious when making a back up CD because the RIAA is watching you.

Social News Site Digg.Com For Sale According to Reports By TechCrunch

No GravatarTechCrunch is reporting that Microsoft and Google are going to purchase the Social News site Digg.com. Digg was founded by TechTv alum Kevin Rose on a shoestring budget. The site is now one of the top 50 web destinations. I would much rather see Google gobble up Digg than to see Microsoft destroy the site.

Watch Streaming Online Shows On Your HDTV

No GravatarHave you ever had a rough day at work and then went home and fell asleep minutes before the episode of “Lost” that was going to explain the entire series? What is a guy to do when he forgets to Tivo or DVR his favorite show? Do you run over to the neighbors house and beg him to transfer it to a VHS tape? No way!!!! You can always go to ABC.com and watch it on your computer screen. You’ve most likely already spent eight hours in front of a computer monitor at work, but what other options do you have?

You can always hook up your computer to your HDTV and watch it on your full sized television screen. Now that sounds like a much better plan of action. It only takes a few minutes and two cables to get the setup working.

Here is a short video that I shot that may(or may not) help you.

*Note: The video was put together in only a few minutes, so the first segment that shows the PC and Audio inputs is on the rear of the television. This was not explained very well in the video.
