Artie Lange’s Beer League in Blu-ray
Artie Lange’s Beer League will be released in Blu-ray April 01, 2008. Directed by Frank Sebastiano and starring Artie Lange, Jim Breuer and Ralph Macchio. Its about a group of losers who like to play softball, get drunk and sometimes both at the same time. Artie Lange expertly plays an “unemployed and unmotivated drunk”. If you are a fan of The Howard Stern Show then you know its a character Artie was born to play. Even if you don’t know the show, but are a fan of foul-mouthed comedy, degenerate drunks acting like fools, underdogs, bachelor parties or babes, beer and softball then this movie is something you should see in all its high definition comedic glory.
The movie was released to theaters in 2006 and on DVD in 2007. However the movie’s distributer (Echo Bridge) is releasing it as part of their bargain priced Blu-rays available in April. It is listed at $14.95, but Amazon has it for $8.95.
